About Our Company

Concordia Turtle Farm was established in 1968, and is family owned and operated by Jesse Evans and his son Davey.  Jesse's Wife, Avis, is our Export Manager and Davey's wife, Shirby, is Assistant Export Manager.  It has grown to become the largest single commercial turtle farm to raise certified salmonella free turtles.

For more than 3 decades Our motto has been "The Customer is Always Right". 

We supply our customers, both foreign and domestic, with the highest quality turtles available.  They are laboratory tested and certified free from all diseases.  Our farm is licensed by the Louisiana Department of Agriculture & Forestry.  With millions of hatchling turtles coming through our farm every year we follow the Siebeling method of treating our eggs to produce "salmonella free" turtles (see "how we do it" at left).  We welcome you to visit our farm at 1609 Loop Road in Wildsville, Louisiana.
